Associate Director, Industry Relation
A unique opportunity to develop and manage relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers in the US healthcare market. We are seeking a curious and self-motivated individual to negotiate rebate discounts in exchange for formulary access.

We are a Fortune 5 business, one of the world's leading healthcare companies. Our dynamic team has been supporting global healthcare systems from Ireland and the UK for over 20 years.
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Director of Industry Relations, Emisar. They will collaborate cross-functionally with various business, finance, operations, and clinical teams, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing business projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Navigation of the US healthcare market with respect to US Commercial pharmacy benefit design and operations.
* Financial modeling analytics for rebate optimization and lowest net cost strategy assessment of pharmaceutical products.
* Clinical knowledge of multiple therapeutic categories for manufacturer assignments (e.g., CV, Diabetes, Respiratory disease).
* Coordination of the redlining process as well as communications and negotiations of contractual terms and conditions in tandem with internal stakeholders.
* An understanding and knowledge of established clinical guidelines determined by OptumRx P&T.
* Act as a strategic thought leader to solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business.
Required Qualifications:
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
* Understanding of competitive landscape and familiarity with pharmaceuticals or healthcare industry.
* Experience in contract negotiations, strategy development, and contract redlining experience.
* Proven ability to work well and collaboratively, with multiple teams or departments for business growth or profitability goals.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
* Advanced degree (MBA or PharmD).
* Experience in managed health care or pharmacy benefit management.
