Project Engineer (Mechanical)
Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join the ECI Team as a Project Engineer.
The successful candidate will work on a wide scope of Water and Wastewater Treatment projects across the Island of Ireland.
Responsibilities include coordinating a multi-disciplined team, assisting in design development, and preparing delivery documentation for client submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the design development of water and wastewater treatment contracts from early design through to detailed design stage and onto delivery/construction stage.
* Collaborate with the Project Manager in the preparation of delivery documentation, including technical submissions and regulatory Health & Safety documentation.
* Liaise with design teams and suppliers, manage subcontractors, installation personnel, and commissioning teams to ensure timely project delivery.
* Evaluate client specifications, communicate with clients and client representatives, and interact with multi-disciplined engineering teams.
Requirements
Minimum NFQ Level 7 degree in Engineering or Science Discipline, practical site experience, and ability to work on own initiative.
Experience in water/wastewater engineering projects is desirable, as well as strong IT skills and good organisational and time management skills.
Self-motivated individuals with strong communication and writing skills are required.
