We are looking for an ambitious, dynamic & self-motivated Food & Beverage professional with experience in organising, directing, and managing the Conference and Banqueting function within the hotel. Working closely with the Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Head Chef to provide an exceptional and innovative guest experience.

What We Are Looking For:
1. Extensive experience in wedding and event management
2. Excellent knowledge of Food and Beverage (including wine)
3. Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills and the ability to influence change
4. Extensive experience in F&B staff training, knowledge and skills, grooming, customer service and service etiquette
5. Experience with report writing, e-mailing, training plans, administration, table plans, menus
6. Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve a high level of performance and customer service
7. Attention to detail and a strong desire to exceed all our guests' expectations is essential

Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing and running the daily Conference and Banqueting operations, giving support and guidance to fellow Food & Beverage personnel as well as monitoring job performance to ensure a successful experience for our guests
2. Generating new ideas for service and products that will maintain a competitive edge and generate additional revenue
3. Responsible for the appropriate and timely setup of all Meeting and Function suites while maintaining standards of food, beverage, and service specifications
4. Reviewing all written communication, i.e., daily/weekly BEOs to determine appropriate staffing levels, room/station assignments, buffet décor and enhancements as they relate to Food & Beverage room setups
5. Managing, training, and developing the team ensuring all SOPs are adhered to
6. Communicating information to the kitchen and other supportive departments prior to and during service
7. Inspecting and overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of all meeting and function suites
8. Coordinating with Wedding & Events and kitchen teams to ensure the highest level of product delivery
9. Organising weekly briefings with the Conference and Banqueting team and Beverage Supervisors to discuss and effectively cover all forthcoming events and review coverage of the past week
10. Ensuring service briefings are carried out as appropriate regarding core standards (dress code, hygiene, service procedure)
