The Compliance Conduct Lead will be responsible for overseeing, maintaining and actively improving key Conduct processes within the Compliance team. As the Compliance Conduct Lead, ideally you will have good knowledge of local legislation and an understanding of the Insurance Compliance landscape, particularly product approval and Conduct Risk. Experience in cross-border environments and Non-Life Insurance is an advantage. This is a CF role under the CBI F&P regime.
What will your essential responsibilities include?
* Support the Compliance team in leading the compliance agenda across the business.
* Support product approval and other Conduct items through committee attendance, MI maintenance and reporting.
* Support the Compliance Officer Complaints in overseeing the XLICSE Complaints activities.
* Support the Compliance team with the delivery of relevant aspects of the annual compliance plan, particularly in respect of Conduct Risk.
* Support the Senior Manager, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs in delivery of the annual training plan.
* Work with colleagues on horizon scanning and the implementation by the business of regulatory change applicable to the business.
* Work with the compliance monitoring, regulatory, complaints and conduct risk teams on compliance issues and regulatory matters arising and, if required, escalate appropriately to the Head of Compliance.
* Support reporting requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
* In conjunction with the Senior Manager, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, review and assess compliance breaches and work with Group compliance and the business to remediate.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs.
We’re looking for someone who has these skills and qualifications:
* An ACOI qualification or studying towards would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of legislation pertaining to regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.
* Excellent verbal, written and collaborative communication skills.
* Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* You will have experience working in a compliance/regulatory environment within a financial services or consulting firm.
* You will have the ability to work in an international, multicultural environment within financial services.
