About this Programme
Explore, develop, and ignite your passion for the world of Finance.
Scotiabank’s UpLIFTED Women in Finance Development programme is a selective four-month programme designed for female-identifying, first-year students (or second-years on a four-year degree) who have an interest in finance. Our programme supports and develops women early in their academic career by providing exposure, insights, and opportunities to learn about finance from experienced professionals.
The development programme will run from the beginning of January 2025 to the end of April 2025. During the programme, participants will be assigned a mentor, have access to targeted workshops to help participants prepare for a career in finance, and have the opportunity to participate in candid discussions about what it means to be a woman in finance.
Programme topics may include, but are not limited to:
* Career Pathways Workshops
* Leadership Speaker Series
* Networking and Interview Workshops
* Technical Skills Workshops
* Office Visits (location dependent)
Participants will also have regular 1-1 sessions with their mentors and Scotiabank careers advisors.
The UpLIFTED: Women in Finance Development Programme also comprises an Insight Day during April 2025 where participants will have the opportunity to work shadow, take part in interactive workshops, skills sessions, and expand your network within Global Banking & Markets.
Programme Eligibility:
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are interested in learning and development opportunities within Global Banking & Markets.
