This role will directly support the University in meeting its ambitious targets set out in its Sustainability Strategy.With a spend of over €246m across 3000+ suppliers in the last financial year, this role will influence procurement spending and enable a new data-driven approach across sourcing, purchase-to-pay, and contract management.Post Status: Specific Purpose ContractThis role will fulfill a significant 'Green Procurement' reporting function, linking with ESRS requirements, with a focus on delivering data on 'Scope 3' emissions. You will lead the analysis and updating of Procurement policies and procedures, tender documents, and contract templates.This role is not being offered on a permanent basis, and its continuation will depend on an operational review assessing the long-term capacity of the post.Hours of Post: 35 hours per weekSalary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-3), Salary Scale (€68,181 - €88,201 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
