About Your New Job
They are looking for a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to join their team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of engineering systems, exceeding client expectations, and maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the maintenance and operation of critical building systems, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, and other vital infrastructure.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and service agreements are upheld.
* Manage both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, raise purchase orders, maintain asset registers, and ensure compliance with contract terms.
* Ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, maintaining high quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
* Attend client meetings and conduct site visits to assess performance and address any concerns.
* Have experience in sourcing, tendering, and procurement, and be capable of identifying commercial opportunities within existing and new client services.
* Lead, train, and develop the facilities team while managing external contractors, ensuring compliance with insurance and tax regulations.
* Ensure all documentation, reports, and quotations meet ISO9001:2015 standards, while maintaining a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
What Skills You Need
* Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within a facilities or maintenance environment.
* Strong technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and building services systems, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot maintenance processes.
* Proven experience managing maintenance projects, leading teams, and overseeing external contractors.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities, including negotiation and stakeholder management.
* Strong focus on safety, service delivery, and adherence to ISO9001:2015 standards.
* A full, clean driving license is required for on-site visits and client meetings.
