Site Manager (Residential Development) Location: Dublin 8 Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a fast-paced, high-profile residential development project in Dublin 8.
This exciting opportunity is for a professional with proven experience in managing apartment developments and concrete works.
The Site Manager will report directly to the Project Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all on-site operations, ensuring the efficient execution of the project.
Supervise the construction of apartments, including concrete works, from start to finish.
Coordinate and manage sub-contractors, suppliers, and site staff to ensure high standards of work.
Ensure that all site activities are carried out safely, with full compliance to health and safety regulations.
Monitor and track project progress, reporting directly to the Project Manager on a regular basis.
Assist with the preparation and review of site-specific construction schedules and timelines.
Ensure that work is carried out in line with design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure the work is being completed to a high standard.
Liaise with the Project Manager to resolve any issues or delays that may arise on site.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports and site meetings.
Ensure effective communication between all stakeholders involved in the project.
Lead and mentor junior site staff, ensuring a productive and positive work environment.
Key Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Site Manager, with specific experience in apartment developments and concrete works.
Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques and methods, particularly in apartment buildings.
Proven ability to manage and supervise site teams and sub-contractors.
Experience in managing site operations, schedules, and resources efficiently.
In-depth understanding of health and safety standards, building regulations, and quality assurance processes.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of quality control on-site and meet project deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Previous experience working with project management software is advantageous.
