Job Description: Lawyer – Disputes and Investigations (Regulatory Investigations) Our client, a top-tier law firm in Dublin, is seeking a Litigation Solicitor to join their market leading Disputes and Investigations practice.
The firm has a state-of-the-art group combining litigation and investigations with a market leading and specialist practice focusing on financial services regulatory investigations.
The Role
The team provides a comprehensive response to business-critical regulatory issues and disputes for financial services clients.
The successful candidate will get an opportunity to work closely with leading experts in this field and be at the cutting edge of regulatory risk, investigations, and white collar crime.
Our client's broader team takes a 'joined up' collaborative approach between technical financial services regulatory experts in their Financial Regulatory Group and contentious lawyers in their Disputes and Investigations Group.
This role focuses on contentious regulatory matters, enforcement investigations, and related litigation as part of this cross-practice offering, based within the Disputes and Investigations Group.
The Person Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years relevant PQE within a large, medium, or boutique corporate law firm.
Expertise in regulatory investigations including by the Central Bank of Ireland or Financial Conduct Authority, Data Protection Commissioner, or the CCPC is essential.
Experience in conducting or responding to Central Bank of Ireland / Financial Conduct Authority investigations is an advantage.
Experience in handling civil litigation claims, judicial reviews, and other appeals or adjudications (such as financial services and pensions ombudsman complaints and statutory appeals) in the financial services or related sectors.
You will thrive in a collaborative team, focused on excellent communication.
You will be open to new ways of meeting client needs including leveraging technology and innovation resources within the firm.
