POSITION SUMMARY
The Global Supply Leader orchestrates overall Supply Planning processes, serving as the vital link between Commercial Sales, Finance, Demand & Customer Logistics, Production Sites, and Procurement. Their leadership extends to a Global Planning organization, leveraging integrated systems and best practices to enhance performance metrics such as OTIF, Inventory optimization, OEE improvements, and reduction of Backorders and Lost Sales. They are to champion the Next Generation supply chain transformation, ensuring consistent global planning practices across the network
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Supply Planning Leadership :
1. Performance-Driven Team : Lead a global supply planning team to ensure an efficient supply of products from our internal site network to meet global demand requirements.
2. Strategy Development : Build a strategy for the Global Supply Planning organization and execute supply chain transformation implementation plans.
3. Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders: Work closely with the commercial sales organization and demand teams to understand marmet risks and opportunities. Partner with manufacturing organization to develop plans to ensure an agile response.
4. Executive Reporting : Prepare and present supply planning inputs during the monthly Executive Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meeting.
Performance and Continuous Improvement :
5. Core Process Execution: Ensure adherence to, and improvement of core planning processes like S&OE, Manufacturing S&OP, Production Performance and Inventory Management.
6. System Adoption: Drive the team to full system usage by moving away from offline spreadsheets and powerpoint summaries.
7. Technology Growth : Stay abreast of industry trends, explore novel solutions, and proactively seek opportunities to integrate cutting-edge tools and methodologies into our workflows
8. Global Site Network : Collaborate with the global site network to ensure standardization, consistency, and continuous improvement of planning approaches. This includes Site and Platform S&OP processes.
9. Site Budget Volumes : Support the network in developing site budget volumes.
10. Supply Chain Parameters : Develop models for key supply chain parameters such as lead times and minimum order quantities (MOQs) to drive optimization.
Agility and Decision Making :
11. Monitoring Demand-to-Supply Landscape : Consistently monitor changes in the demand-to-supply landscape.
12. Transparent Collaboration : Lead transparent collaboration across all business areas to ensure effective and timely decision-making.
13. Capacity Planning : Assess and monitor mid-to-long-term capacity requirements to support capital expenditure (Capex) decision-making.
14. Supply Resiliency : Lead the Supply Resiliency program to mitigate capacity pinch points in the mid-to-long term.
API Planning and Inventory Optimization :
15. API Planning Team : Lead the API planning team, considering both internal and external supply nodes. Balance security of supply with inventory targets.
16. API Sourcing Strategies : Conduct decision-making analysis on API sourcing strategies.
People-Focused Leadership :
17. Talent Acquisition and Development : Plan talent acquisition and ensure people development plans are in place to support colleagues’ growth.

30. Team of roughly 40 people with capability to grow and expand scope
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
31. Minimum 10 years of experience working in an international organization with a fast evolving environment.
32. Deep functional knowledge and experience in leading Supply Planning and other aspects of Supply Chain including Master Scheduling, Inventory optimization and S&OP.
33. Proficiency in English
