They employ the latest technology, production methods, and highly capable staff to ensure efficient production and continuous improvement.Due to significant expansion, they are looking to add skills to our team. Among the key roles, they are now seeking an ambitious, experienced and energetic person to fill a Site Manager vacancy. This role will be primarily based onsite, primarily within the greater Dublin area, but will be required to travel to other locations as required.The RoleAs Site Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of our on-site activities, co-ordinating and monitoring daily progress and liaising with others to ensure compliance with quality standards and successful delivery of projects to client satisfaction.The Key Accountabilities of this role are:When required, take site measurements ensuring 100% accuracy, or agree “hold-to dimensions” with the main contractor.Co-ordinate with the Contractor and book in deliveries ahead of time and oversee the offloading materials with the fit-out team.Co-ordinate with the team and scheduling of other trades to meet project timelines.Liaise with the Contractor & Site foreman to ensure areas are ready for onsite works to minimise delays.Oversee and coordinate all activities of fitters and subcontractors on site on a day-to-day basis.Monitor the quality of the work to ensure the installation meets specifications and standards. Snag as you go and oversee the work of fitters until it is snag free.Monitor on-site progress on a daily basis and report back to the Project Managers and Contracts Manager.Use own initiative and be proactive in finding solutions to issues arising on site.Oversee all aspects of Health and Safety ensuring safe systems of work are followed and adhered to, carry out site inspections, co-ordinate site meetings and file report for senior management.Co-ordinate equipment and machinery.Liaise with main contractor if any issues arise.The PersonWe welcome applications from capable and ambitious candidates who demonstrate the following capabilities:Experience & Knowledge:Competence & experience of fitting / joining bespoke joinery to a high standard.Ability to do site surveys and take accurate dimensions required.Ideally 3-5 years of experience in a Site Manager/co-ordination role with either another joinery business or a main contractor, (this is not a requirement but would be an advantage).A proven track record of meeting client requirements, meeting quality standards and deadlines.Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements, SMSTS & First Aid training essential.Proven experience in effectively managing teams, holding them accountable for standards, timelines, quality, health & safety, etc.Proficiency in Microsoft applications – TEAMS, spreadsheets, databases, etc. required.
