Head of Marketing – Retail and Omnichannel

Our client based in Dublin and with locations across the Island of Ireland, is product and tech-focused, operating multiple brands (online and retail) in their market of operation.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Marketing to lead and develop the marketing functions of this multi-site, nationwide company operating in both land-based and online leisure/entertainment sectors. This role demands a hands-on, highly organized manager who utilizes a strong analytical and data-driven approach. The primary focus of the role is on the retail customer experience through the management of our clients loyalty club, promotions and CRM. You will play a key role in further developing and implementing their Omnichannel customer strategy, helping to seamlessly integrate the experience across our land-based and online operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Development:
• Architect and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across all business units.
• Collaborate with business units to develop tailored marketing plans and budgets.
• Create marketing plans for expansion into new locations.
• Liaise with the Online Marketing teams to integrate online best practices into the retail environment.
• Partner with the IT department to enhance customer experience through bespoke development.
2. Promotions:
• Design and implement a dynamic marketing calendar.
• Develop data-driven campaigns to enhance customer retention and attract new clientele.
• Develop and manage in club, online / social media advertising campaigns to bring awareness to these promotions.
3. CRM and Customer Retention:
• Enhance CRM and retention strategies with multi-channel campaigns.
• Focus on sophisticated customer journeys and VIP engagement to maximize customer satisfaction and lifetime value.
• Oversee the creation of marketing collateral including promotional posters, SMS, and emails.
• Develop out a VIP function.
4. Analysis and Reporting:
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators.
• Use analytics to optimize marketing performance and collaborate on customer analysis, segmentation, and targeting.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Industry Expertise: Minimum of 3 years in a leadership marketing role within the gaming industry.
2. Analytical Skills: Exceptional skills in Excel and BI tools like PowerBI or Tableau, with a demonstrated ability to derive actionable insights from data.
3. CRM Experience: Building and improving customer journeys using marketing automation tools is a must have.
4. Leadership: Proactive and self-motivated with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
5. Communication & Organizational Skills: Strong capability in clear communication, confident leadership, and effective organization.

Salary Neg. Depending on Experience circa €80K+
