Laserfiche seeks a dynamic Pre-Sales Engineering Manager to lead and optimize our EMEA pre-sales team.
In this role, you will oversee technical professionals across various career paths, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic business goals. You will play a crucial role in managing high-impact implementation projects, reviewing Statements of Work (SOWs), and resolving escalations while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full management of the pre-sales team.
2. Supervise and provide guidance to technical team members in various career paths, including project management, hybrid, presales, and solutions engineering.
3. Collaborate closely with global Laserfiche team leads such as Presales, PMO, and Direct Engineering Services, reporting directly to the EMEA Regional Director.
Project Oversight and Escalation Handling
1. Ensure timely and budget-compliant execution of Laserfiche Direct implementation projects while maintaining the highest quality standards.
2. Review and/or create Statements of Work (SOW) deliverables and assess technical deliverables from project teams.
3. Cultivate strong working relationships with customers, especially at the Project Manager and senior management levels.
EMEA Pre-Sales Engineering Team Management
1. Lead requirements gathering engagements and provide technical review of solution designs and effort estimates.
2. Design, implement, and deploy solutions for medium to large-sized projects, potentially incorporating custom-developed functionality.
3. Coach and mentor team members ranging from 1st to 3rd level to foster their professional growth.
Sales and Pre-Sales Support
1. Gather requirements from prospective and existing customers to build sales demonstrations and complex Proof of Concepts (POCs).
2. Develop functional sales demos and complex POCs to showcase the capabilities of the Laserfiche product.
3. Write and cost Statements of Work (SOW) for potential projects.
You are an experienced team leader with a strong technical background and a passion for driving successful pre-sales initiatives.
We require:
1. Minimum 5-years of work experience in a software or professional services company.
2. Minimum 5-years' experience & proven success indirectly managing high performing teams.
3. Minimum 3-years of work experience in a project management capacity.
4. Minimum 2-years of work experience in a supervisory capacity.
5. Bachelor's Degree.
6. Languages: C2 (Proficiency) English and German.
