Job Summary:
A QHSE Advisor is required to support Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards across the Group. The role involves working closely with various departments to ensure compliance and promote a culture of continual improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the QSHE Manager in reviewing and creating documentation related to quality, health, safety, and the environment.
* Conduct QSHE audits, prepare detailed reports, and recommend improvements to enhance compliance.
* Organise and deliver QSHE Inductions.
* Identify and evaluate potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
* Assist with the provision of QSHE, security, and product safety awareness programmes through various campaigns.
* Address QSHE enquiries from internal and external sources.
* Investigate incidents, accidents, safety concerns, and near misses to establish root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions.
* Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of continual improvement and operational excellence.
* Undertake random spot checks across the Group.
* Travel to group locations and customer sites in GB & Ireland as needed.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar QHSE role.
* Experience working to/with ISO standards (ISO 45001).
* Working knowledge of current Health and Safety standards & legislation.
Desirable Skills:
* NEBOSH Certificate
* Environmental Health degree or equivalent
* ISO internal auditor qualification
* Knowledge of BRC Global Standards or Food Safety Standards
