A leading company is on the lookout for a dedicated Environmental Sustainability Co-Ordinator to help shape the future of sustainability from the inside out. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact — working across departments, embedding sustainable practices, and influencing strategic environmental outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Develop and implement organisation-wide sustainability goals, policies, and frameworks
2. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive waste reduction, energy savings, and lower carbon emissions
3. Deliver powerful sustainability presentations and insights to internal teams and clients
4. Lead assessments, audits, and inspections aligned with Origin Green, Ecovadis, and CSRD standards
5. Identify improvement opportunities that are good for the planet and the bottom line
6. Manage and maintain supplier certification and sustainability data
7. Monitor KPIs and drive action plans to hit ambitious targets
8. Support and upskill teams through sustainability training programmes
9. Collaborate with third-party partners to accelerate sustainability outcomes
10. Get involved in continuous improvement across the business
Minimum Requirements:
1. Level 7 qualification (or higher) in Environmental Science or related discipline
2. Practical knowledge of sustainability practices in the food industry
3. Familiarity with key frameworks and legislation (CSRD, Origin Green, Ecovadis, etc.)
4. Strong communicator — confident in presentations, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
5. Analytical mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
6. Passionate about environmental change and ready to roll up your sleeves!
