Job Description:
As a QC Technical Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying unknown material observed at IOPS and conducting various investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive investigation testing (FT-IR, SEM, ICP-MS, GC) for chemical identification of unknown material
* Evaluate and interpret data, author technical documents for investigational testing
* Establish, develop, and optimize analytical methodology for analysis of unknown compounds/contaminates/debris in varying matrices
* Liaise with contract laboratories to support investigational analysis
* Tabulate results, write summary reports of assay development and validation studies
* Present findings at group and interdepartmental meetings
Requirements:
* BS/BA in a life sciences field
* 2+ years of relevant experience in a c GMP environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills and Abilities:
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
* Understanding of working with statistical software such as JMP
* Development experience in identification-based analyses (e.g. FT-IR, SEM, ICP-MS, GC) in a GMP environment
