Financial Accountant Our client are a leading international engineering services company who currently have an excellent opportunity for a newly or recently qualified accountant to join their finance team and report to the Group Financial Controller. Working as part of a large finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for - Financial Management: Manage financial transactions, reconcile general ledger accounts. Monitor cash-flow, and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. Financial Analysis: Analyse and interpret financial data to inform management decisions, including overhead reporting, and provide financial advice. Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit accurate tax returns (VAT, etc) and other regulatory requirements in both Ireland and foreign jurisdictions. Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, statutory year-end audits, and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Business Partnering : You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams such as AP and AR to provide financial advice and support in decision-making processes and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
