Process Sciences is a technical services department that deals with a range of scientific, technical, engineering and mathematical needs from the laboratory to the manufacturing floor. Process Sciences support the following areas Upstream Sciences, Downstream Sciences, Analytical Technologies, IPC lifecycle, Data Analytics, Manufacturing Support, Process Validation and Process Solutions. As a Project Specialist within Process Sciences a typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following: Serving as a primary contact for the cross-functional activities with Manufacturing, QC and external partners involving Process Sciences Identifying areas of operational improvements to reduce errors and increase organizational / operational efficiency Handling and analysing large amounts of unstructured information and can distil into easy-to-understand presentations and other documents Involving the appropriate subject matter experts (SMEs) to answer detailed information requests and help troubleshoot unexpected process performance Providing administrative support to the process department Leading progression of cross functional investigations and study teams This role might be for you if: You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment You have strong project management experience and the ability to balance multiple projects, prioritize them and execute them thoughtfully and independently You have strong communication skills, both oral and written You are detail oriented, quality driven and well organized You can take on new and ambiguous challenges, learning quickly You enjoy working in a team environment but can also take ownership of multi-faceted technical projects You have excellent communication skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite You have prior experience in navigating LIMS software To be considered for this opportunity you should have a BS/BA in a science, engineering, business or MS/MA in the same discipline.
