The team and the opportunity
At EY, the Technology Delivery team executes and drives end-to-end transformational IT-centric programmes and projects by delivering solutions that encompass people, process, and technology. We tailor our delivery approach to execute on IT and ICT Strategies and realise the IT investments that underpin core business objectives for our clients.
As part of our NextWave strategy, Programme Managers will provide Programme Leadership, Support, and Direction to support our client’s technology-centric programmes. We are looking to recruit high-performing individuals with a proven track record in Programme Management and/or Portfolio/Project Management to be part of our leading and growing Technology Consulting business.

Your key responsibilities
Client Responsibilities
* Take end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of technology-focused projects, particularly ServiceNow reviews, implementations, and change projects.
* Plan, direct, and coordinate activities to deliver projects from mobilisation through to implementation by leading medium to large-sized teams of project resources, focusing on solutions based on the ServiceNow platform.
* Influence and negotiate project outcomes across multiple functions, preparing and presenting analysis, insights, and recommendations to assist governance forums and senior client stakeholders.
* Maintain focus to ensure projects deliver on key priorities and requirements, managing dependencies to realise business benefits within agreed timelines.
* Advise on project/programme level decisions that influence project direction and escalate unresolved decisions to governance forums.
Internal Responsibilities
* Understand all consulting service offerings and identify opportunities to better serve clients, building meaningful relationships across service lines.
* Create innovative insights for clients looking to leverage their vendor framework and improve their IT offerings.
* Lead Technology Consulting engagements, managing team performance and engagement billings, and conducting performance reviews.
* Develop people through effective supervision, coaching, and mentoring.
* Follow and lead staff in workplace policies and procedures.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must have:
* Around 3+ years’ experience implementing ServiceNow.
* A deep technical and functional knowledge of IT Service Management.
* Certifications from ServiceNow, such as Certified System Administrator or Certified Implementation Specialist, or willingness to gain them.
* Certification and/or knowledge of ITIL.
* Experience in a client-facing role for a leading consulting or professional services company.
* Experience in one or more of our focus industries including Energy & Assets, Financial Services, Government & Public Sector, Health & Wellness, Consumer Product & Retail, Telecommunications Media & Technology, Advanced Manufacturing.
* Excellent communication skills tailored to various audiences.
* A track record of delivery within large-scale technical transformation projects.
Ideally, you will also have:
* Experience in Configuration Management, Service Request Management, and Service Level Management.
* A strong academic record including a third-level degree in a business or IT-related discipline.
* Project Management experience in tracking and maintaining project status and actions.
* A desire to identify new opportunities and help create proposals to solve complex client needs.
