ASSISTANT BRAND/PRODUCT MANAGER
Our client, a fast-growing international Galway based direct sales company in the Health Technology industry, is looking to hire an Assistant Brand/Product Manager.
The successful person will be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies for products at a fast-growing international direct sales company.
You will work on the Global Product Management Marketing team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the success of our product lines and driving brand awareness working closely with cross-functional teams. As Assistant Brand Manager you will contribute to the development and execution of strategies that drive global marketing campaign efforts to optimize new product launches and maximize the value of products and solutions throughout their lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Product Portfolio Management and Brand Development:
• Execute comprehensive marketing plans that help define the brand, messaging pillars and product content strategy for new and existing products.
•Successfully deliver key product projects for the company.
•Product Messaging and Education Management: Manage all product claims, messaging and product educational assets that empower the sales team to effectively communicate the product's value proposition and support product launches and ongoing sales efforts.
•Conduct and lead market research, competitive analysis, monitor market trends, product positioning, and messaging.
•Product Packaging Governance – Work with the Product Management Specialist on governing the visual identity and brand of product packaging.
2. Market Intelligence and Sales Support
• Monitor and report on product performance metrics, including sales, revenue, and customer feedback, to inform product development and marketing strategies.
•Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in product marketing and the direct sales industry.
•Product and Campaign Performance reporting: Report on the effectiveness of product marketing campaigns and new product launches using KPIs and metrics. Assisting on global campaigns to promote the product, drive customer engagement, and increase conversion rates.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with operations teams to identify product enhancements and new features that will improve the product's value proposition.
•Coordinate with regional leads and core departments on multiple time-zones to effectively manage the timely execution of global product related projects.
• Completes all company training and follows established policies and procedures – follow Marketing and Product Process SOP. Assist with new marketing member training plans and onboarding.
•Assistance in DAM management (Brandfolder).
•Become a super user of Project Management Software – Dashboard Creation and management on Smartsheet.
•Events and Merchandise assistance, and any other ad-hoc duties that may arise.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
•4 years of experience in Product Management essential.
•Strong written and verbal communications skills are required. Fluent English essential.
•Strong understanding of product development processes and project management principles.
•Proficiency in marketing automation tools, Project Management Tools (Smartsheet preferred but not essential), and analytics software.
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills, collaboration, and management skills are required.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Attention to detail and complex information required.
•Excellent computer skills including MS Office, word, excel and PPT.
•Strong user of PowerPoint or presenting/designer tools.
•Previous experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet a bonus.
•Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to work with various personalities and cultures required.
•Comfort with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
•Ability to work both independently, seek guidance as needed, and work within a global team across time zones.
•Ability to travel up to 10% of the year.
