The Graduate BCAR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the BCAR Manager with the collation of project documentation.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Carrying out quality inspections on all works with the BCAR Manager/Senior BCAR Coordinator.
* Collating project documentation relating to inspection plans and the Building Control Amendment Regulations 2014.
* Liaising with Assigned Certifiers and Resident Engineers on Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs) raised and review of close observations.
* Coordinating commencement notices.
* Tracking inspection plans and monitoring progress during the project.
* Compiling required product certification from contractors.
* Tracking open compliance issues on projects.
* Coordinating and liaising with parties involved in construction projects.
* Reporting weekly and monthly data and information to site teams, stakeholders, and partners.
* Maintaining a professional image for the company in dealings with the public and stakeholders.
* Performing other ad hoc duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
* You hold or are working towards a Degree qualification in Construction Management, Building Surveying, or Architectural Technology.
* Ability to use initiative and be self-motivated.
* An interest in residential property is desirable.
* Ability to work as part of a team is essential.
* Good IT skills are also required.
