Our client is Ireland's leading multidisciplinary environmental consultancy.
You will draft, review, and co-ordinate Environmental Impact Assessment Reports for a wide variety of project and client types.
1. Preparation and coordination of specialist environmental assessments (air, noise, water, waste etc.)
2. Data analysis, interpretation, and presentation.
3. GIS.
4. Environmental auditing and surveying.
5. Technical report writing.
6. Engaging with external stakeholders such as regulatory bodies and sub-contractors.
7. Communication with clients and attending project meetings.
Requirements:
1. Relevant third level Degree (Level 8 or higher) - ecology, environmental science / environmental engineering or similar.
2. 2+ years Post qualification experience, most of which will have been gained within a planning or environmental consultancy area.
3. Experience in planning applications.
4. Familiarity with Irish and EU planning and EIA legislation and processes.
5. Technical report writing such as AA, EcIA, and EIAR.
6. Understanding of environmental science principles.
7. Experience in site inspections and/or environmental auditing.
8. Competent in technical report writing.
9. Full clean driving license.
10. Eligible to work in Ireland.
Desired experience:
1. MSc degree in relevant field.
2. Experience in an environmental consultancy firm.
