Sanderson are partnering with a well established solicitors in Kildare to recruit for the permanent part time position of Accounts Manager, this position is onsite. Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the firm's Client & Office banks, including processing online banking payments, cheque payments, lodgements, recording all bank transactions on the accounts system, and reconciling all banks. Maintain all aspects of petty cash. Handle accounts payable by recording supplier invoices, managing supplier payments, and addressing any supplier queries. Manage accounts receivable, including client invoicing and credit control. Maintain client matter ledgers in accordance with Solicitors Accounts Regulations. Prepare compliance reports in accordance with Solicitors Accounts Regulations. Process staff expenses. Handle payroll, including ROS submissions and reporting. Manage VAT & VIES returns, including ROS submissions. Record and reconcile Land Registry, Court Franking, and CRO accounts. Submit Revenue Commissioners Stamp Duty returns. Supervise Accounts Assistant and outsourced bookkeeping support where required. Manage the Nominal Ledger, including processing necessary journal entries. Prepare ad hoc reports for management. Liaise with the firm's external financial advisors and auditors. Experience required: Accounting Technician or similar accounting qualification 2 to 3 years' experience in a legal accounts position. Knowledge of Legal Accounting Systems preferably Keyhouse Case Management & Sam Accounts System. Knowledge of VAT rates and VAT reporting obligations. Familiar with online banking processes. Knowledge of solicitors accounts regulations. A proactive and professional attitude is essential. Capable of working on own initiative. Must have the ability to deal with staff members at all levels.
