My Client is an Irish-owned corporate communications and public affairs consultancy based in Dublin, London, and Brussels.
They work with and advise leading global companies, NGOs, professional, and membership bodies.
A selection of the sectors we service include transport, energy, healthcare, property, digital, and not-for-profit.
The Day-to-Day
Public Affairs Monitoring and Research
* Providing analysis to the PA team on political developments
* Working with our digital team to develop compelling content
* Working with polling companies, economists, and other research organizations
Key Responsibilities
Implementing Effective Client Programs
* Ensuring continued success of client initiatives
* Managing stakeholders
* Maintaining positive working relations with clients through regular communication, meetings, and reporting
Key Competencies Required
Experience
* Previous experience working in the media, the Oireachtas, for a political party, at a think tank, or a similar organization
* Campaign experience and/or experience working in public affairs either at an agency or in-house
Skills
* Excellent writing and research skills
* A strong understanding and interest in the Irish political system and media
* A self-starter who has great initiative, can give clear insights, with an interest in learning and developing his/her skills in a busy and fast-moving working environment
* An analytical mind with an ability to cut through information and find what really matters to clients
* Good organisational and project management skills
Qualifications
A graduate with a postgraduate qualification in public affairs or public relations, communications, politics, law, international relations would be an advantage.
