Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Utilities)
Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician (Utilities), you will be responsible for providing operational, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for utilities, facilities, HVAC & building systems in a cGMP environment. This role requires strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMP guidelines.
Responsibilities:
* Perform daily operations, maintenance, and repairs on utilities, WFI, clean steam, bulk gases, bulk chemicals, process water generation, boilers, chillers, chemical dosing systems, cooling towers, air compressors, LPHW skids, waste water treatment, biowaste inactivation skids or other mechanical equipment.
* Monitor and interpret readings on equipment, computer terminals/HMIs, switches, valves, gauges, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks or malfunctions.
* Identify off-nominal conditions with mechanical and electrical equipment.
* Troubleshoot and problem-solve any operational & maintenance issues.
* Perform daily work orders and PMs and efficiently coordinate the workflow and documentation of PMs and WOs.
* Coordinate and supervise vendor maintenance activities.
* Ensure safe and efficient hands-on maintenance with strict adherence to SOPs, cGMPs, and quality standards.
* Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to Safety Systems such as COHE/LOTO, Permit to Work, Method Statements / Risk Assessments.
Requirements:
* Qualification to National Craft Standard.
* Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
Working Conditions:
This role may require working in a cGMP environment with minimal supervision. The successful candidate must possess logical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as a good understanding of utility systems and manufacturing equipment.
