Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain relationships with customers seeking funding for residential development projects.
- Conduct detailed assessments of residential development projects and prepare concise loan reports.
- Support team members by providing advice on funding applications.
- Participate in regular reviews of borrower relationships and funded developments.
- Achieve lending targets within agreed timeframes and commercial terms.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Facilitate cooperation with internal and external auditors.
Key Skills and Requirements: - Minimum of 8 years in a similar role within a financial institution, with a proven track record in residential development lending.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Experience in managing credit quality and compliance.
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- In-depth knowledge of residential development lending products and markets.
- Strong understanding of lending agreements, covenants, and security requirements.
- Excellent negotiation and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and networking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Degree in economics/finance or a related discipline, and/or equivalent professional qualification.
