Key Responsibilities
* Generate sales and revenue via a pipeline of specified projects
* Champion the adoption of the companys innovative steel reinforcement solutions, emphasizing their cost, labour, carbon, timesaving and health and safety benefits
* Establish and keep relationships with senior-level stakeholders across the construction industry, including main contractors, structural engineers, and specifiers
* Influence specifications at the early design stage, ensuring the companys technology becomes an integral part of large-scale construction projects
* Prepare and deliver compelling, project-specific proposals and presentations to prospective clients with support from the head office
* Collaborate with team members, sharing product knowledge and market insights to foster a culture of innovation and success
* Provide regular detailed reports on market trends, sales progress, and customer insights, finding opportunities for further growth
Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years of senior-level business development or specification sales experience within the construction industry, focusing on rebar, reinforced concrete, precast concrete, piling, prefabricated modular solutions, ground works or formwork systems
* A 3rd level engineering qualification ideally in structural, civil, or mechanical engineering
* Proven Track Record with clearly shown success in achieving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
* A well-established construction industry network of contacts among main contractors, structural engineers, specifiers, and other key decision-makers
* Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in ports, renewable energy, and data centre developments
* Strong ability to deliver compelling CPDs and value-driven pitches to senior stakeholders at board room level
* Organized in time management and skilled at finding and prioritizing opportunities, developing sales leads from cold calls, and prioritizing tasks effectively
* Positive can-do attitude with exceptional relationship management skills with a team-first approach
* Field-based with the ability to work remotely while traveling often to meet clients and attend site visits
