Job Description
Purpose of the Role: To provide support to the Operations Director, CFO, and Accounts Team.
This role involves working closely with all departments and senior management to disseminate financial information.
* Disseminate financial information across various departments and senior management levels.
* Manage and maintain the integrity of accounting software, contributing to its future development and enhancements.
* Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and compiling monthly reports for the senior management team.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of financial systems and policies.
* Analyse cost and revenue data to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
* Evaluate and maintain compliance with revenue regulations, including prem taxes, VAT, and RCT.
* Support the facilitation of annual audits, ensuring a smooth process.
* Develop expertise and provide support on specific construction finance issues.
* Provide assistance to the payroll function.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* 3-5 years of accountancy experience, preferably within the construction sector.
* A professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
* Proficiency in IT, specifically MS Excel and accounting software.
* Strong organisational skills, including managing deadlines and prioritising tasks.
* The ability to work as part of a team, taking direction while also working independently when necessary.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
