Role & Responsibilities:
The active role is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for architectural design, strong technical skills, excellent communication ability and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, and other professionals to produce high-quality architectural design, drawings, and documentation.
Key resposibilities include:
* Plan and manage project resources.
* Undertake career planning and arrange for effective mentoring and training of employees under your direction.
* Oversee compliance with Company’s Quality Management System.
* Oversee compliance with Health and Safety practices by those under your direction.
* Lead and promote design excellence within the business.
* Delivery of sustainable solutions where practicable.
* Prepare and manage planning applications.
* Confidently run multiple projects at various stages from concept through design, procurement, construction contract administration and handover with the assistance of Director involvement.
* Adopt appropriate design philosophy and develop concept.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Have a recognised accredited qualification.
* Be a Member of RIAI or equivalent.
* Min 8 years experience in Ireland or UK in a consulting role(s).
* Be proficient in the application of Building Regulations.
* Have strong knowledge of the Irish planning system.
* Have a good knowledge of Fire and DAC requirements.
* Lead many modest sizes projects in a pharm environment.
* Be fluent in AutoCAD and Revit.
* Manage several projects in parallel.
* Possess good technical, communication and management skills.
* Possess commercial astuteness in terms of understanding and managing project budgets.
* Have own car and driver’s licence.
