Social Care Worker Essential Criteria:
* Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date, hold a professional registration, or be eligible for registration, on the Social Care Workers register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU.

* OR
* Have a schedule 3 qualification. Please see list of recognised Schedule 3 qualifications at: Schedule 3 Qualifications - Coru
* OR
* Have a comparable qualification recognised by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU.
* OR
* Applicants who satisfy the conditions set out in Section 91 of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005, must submit proof of application for registration with the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU.
* OR
* Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
* AND
* Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the role.
* Annual Registration
* (i) On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Social Care Workers register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU.
* AND
* (ii) Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to the Association by way of the annual patient safety assurance certificate.
What's desirable?
* Full driver’s licence and access to a road worthy car insured for business purposes.
* Experience supporting people in the community is highly desirable.
* Willingness to drive Association vehicles.
* Good IT skills to support daily tasks.
Note: A valid Irish work permit is required where applicable.
