This role reports to the Site Sourcing Lead and will support the procurement activities for the Tullamore sites (B100 and B200) to ensure uninterrupted supply of quality materials and services in the most lean and cost-effective manner. This role will mainly support key procurement operations for Direct and In-direct materials along with CAPEX and site services for Tullamore facility inclusive of policies/procedures, supplier identification, set-up and execution etc.Ensures that all key Procurement activities are carried out in an ethical manner and in conformance with all Zoetis policies.An ideal candidate will have experience in the following- Biologics raw materials procurement and some experience in In-direct procurement.Experience in developing/supporting contracts and maintaining service level agreements for above categories would be preferred.Supporting the site yearly Raw material budgeting activities along with LEs.Purchase goods, materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into price, quality and delivery timeline to ensure continuity of supply.Lead the local sourcing activities while supporting other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations.Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on sourcing processes, new projects and activities.Monitor and advice on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organisation.Provide analysis on costs, new and existing contracts, and review cost reduction activitiesWork closely with cross functional teams to develop scope of work for various spend categories and thereafter continuous improvement opportunities.Negotiate, develop and improve contracts, pricing and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business saving utilising negotiation and procurement best practice toolsDirectly reports to the Site Sourcing Lead.Experience in working with cross functional teams i.e. Finance, production, Quality, EHS, Legal and all functions that affect the supply base.Previous Bio-pharmaceuticals experience would be plus point.Full timeLegal statement as belowThis job advert indicates the general nature and level of work expected.
