Manufacturing Process Technician (Day Shift)
Cork-based multinational Medical Device company is seeking a Process Technician to work onsite with our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Communicate concerns about work process impacting environmental health and safety to Manager
* Maintain compliance to quality requirements by building quality into all aspects of work
* Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to develop, troubleshoot, standardize and improve production methods and procedures
* Assist MEs in investigating and implementing new production methods, including design, part sourcing, and documentation
Requirements
* Strong Electro/Mechanical/Maintenance background with hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical instrumentation and equipment
* Experience in high-volume automation/robotics, pneumatics, electronics, hydraulics, programmable controllers (PLC), servo motor drives, vision systems, or workshop machining desirable
* Troubleshooting & Fault Finding Skills
* Ability to manage yield on an hour-by-hour basis and analyze trends to identify opportunities for improvement
* Problem Solving: Formal problem-solving skills and systematic root cause problem solving and troubleshooting
* Microsoft Office proficient
* Ability to analyze data in Excel and draw logical conclusions
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
