* Facilitate scoping and business priority setting for large or complex programme changes, obtaining formal agreement from a large and diverse range of potentially senior stakeholders and recipients to the scope and requirements, plus able to establish a base-line on which delivery of a solution can commence
* Partnering and aligning with the core team members including sales, operations, information technology and technical leads to facilitate the identified solution
* Assists sales with pre-sales activity. Reviews new business proposals and provides advice on compliance issues
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
* One or more industry certifications. Prince 2, PMP etc.
Essential skills
* Experience in large scale data centre moves and in the co-ordination between multiple system vendors and application owners.
* Supervision and management of the new Data Centre Manage Services provider’s (HCL’s) plans and co-ordination with multiple work-streams including Contract Governance, Portfolio Integration, Transformation and technical leads.
* Lead out and monitor 3rd party advisors as required,. KPMG
* Supervision and Co-ordination of plans for application testing and application integration with Bank wide stakeholders and business units.
* Stakeholder management and reporting up to and including C-Suite in particular CIO and COO in their roles as Sponsor and Exec Sponsor and preparation of regular Board level papers and progress updates.
* Excellent people management skills - introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other, encouraging mentoring and the transfer of knowledge by designing and delivering learning interventions
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in initiating open and candid relationships with people at all levels
* Team work and emotional intelligence
* Good self-management – continuous performance is both a goal and a mind-set
* Has an innovative approach – a bold thinker and doer, matching creativity with vigilance
Experience
* Advanced level of general overall programme management expertise with a strong background in managing programmes whilst providing leadership to teams
* Experience in negotiating with internal and external stakeholders to advance the interests of the organisation and developing strategies and action plans that reflect an in-depth understanding and assessment of client issues
* Experience of introducing new concepts or strategies that significantly improve or revise the way business is done through to implementation.
* Evidence of in-depth application/technology and domain knowledge and viewed as an expert in multiple areas.
* Strong knowledge of emerging technologies and market trends and able to assess impact on business strategies, benefits and risks.
* Extensive experience with all stages of the product development lifecycle (concept to launch).
* Experience in hiring, developing and retaining the best talent.
