Our clients specialize in roofing and cladding services across Ireland. They are currently seeking a Financial Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis, providing essential financial support to drive business success.
Your New Role:
* Maintain an efficient accounts receivable process, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
* Manage daily banking, cashflow, credit control, and bank reconciliations with accuracy and precision.
* Handle petty cash, provide interdepartmental support, conduct intercompany reconciliations, and generate reports as required.
* Support month-end activities, tax filings, payroll, audit preparations, and assist with accounts payable duties as needed.
Requirements for Success
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role is essential.
* Proficiency in the construction industry is advantageous, while knowledge of ISO9001:2015 is considered beneficial.
* Strong PC literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel) and Outlook, is required.
* Familiarity with Sage 50 is necessary, along with good typing skills to ensure efficient task completion.
