Key Responsibilities:
* To ensure products are made to the required specification and are safe for consumers.
* Scaling, mixing, depositing, proofing, baking of all products in line with company recipes and systems.
* Continually monitor processes and identify areas for improvement.
* Make recommendations for the improvement and follow-up on implementation.
* Ensure customer requirements regarding Products, Processes, Food Safety and Quality are implemented.
* Ensure completion of paperwork in real time and efficiently.
* Contribute towards new product developments, working with existing and new customers to deliver on new product briefs.
* Assist with inventory management, including ordering ingredients and ensuring the availability of baking materials.
* Work as part of a small, close-knit team, supporting colleagues where necessary and contributing to a positive workplace atmosphere.
Qualifications/Education:
* Proven experience as a baker, with a strong focus on new product development.
* Passion for baking with a commitment to producing high-quality products.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work early morning shifts.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
About the Candidate:
Head Baker will be primarily involved in the production of all products, with requirement for involvement in and contributing to new product development.
Salary & Benefits:
€50,000 - €70,000
