DUTIES:You will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for overseeing project teams and associated subcontractors in the safe, timely execution of works across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES:GeneralDay-to-day management of contracts for projects under your control, including supervising and monitoring the site workforce and subcontractors.Health and SafetyEnsure all works are delivered in the safest manner possible, supported by the Site Manager, EHS Advisor, and Contracts Manager, and in accordance with legislative requirements.Ensure that contractors execute works as per their approved method statements and risk assessments.Deliver daily site briefings to the workforce to manage interface risks between subcontractors safely.Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping on-site.Report all safety incidents and/or accidents to the Safety Advisor and Company Directors in strict accordance with company protocols.Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities as required.Promote a zero-harm culture, ensuring the safety of workers and third parties interfacing with worksites.Roles and Responsibilities:Full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects from both a time scale and commercial perspective.Recruitment and development of effective project teams.Organisation of work programmes, including updating and tracking schedules on a two-weekly basis or as required.Coordination of project and site managers across various sites.Ensure the highest levels of Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards are maintained.Implement the company’s Cost & Value Management procedures and ensure accurate and timely commercial reporting to senior management.Work closely with Directors and Project Managers to support and recommend strategies, identify potential risks or issues, and develop appropriate resolutions.Ensure effective procurement and supply chain management.Serve as the point of contact for the company on all contractual matters.Act as a contractual "middleman" between company employees and clients, ensuring timely review and approval/reconciliation of variations.Maintain contractual records and documentation, including correspondence, customer contact information, contractual changes, progress reports, and project documentation.Provide redlined recommendations on all standard and non-standard contracts.Propose design changes to improve cost savings, ease construction processes, and enhance specifications and quality.Provide guidance on contract matters to project managers and other operational staff, including training new team members on contracting practices and procedures.Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy.Monitor compliance with established procedures and identify areas requiring improvement.Handle ongoing issues and manage changes effectively.Ensure contract close-out, extensions, or renewals are managed appropriately.Identify under-performing projects and develop business plans to address issues effectively.Provide constructive feedback to improve standards across the business.Ensure that all projects visually represent the company’s brand image.Create a positive environment that promotes staff retention and reduces turnover.Continuously review and optimise project costs, processes, and resources.Support the management of staff competence and activities to optimise business growth, performance, and client satisfaction.Ensure compliance with all operational, policy, and procedural requirements.What’s in it for you?Competitive SalarySupportive Work EnvironmentOpportunities for Career ProgressionProfessional Development Support and Mentoring for those seeking professional qualifications with recognised bodiesCPD TrainingGym MembershipLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgrammeLoyalty Reward Scheme (Earn Additional Leave for Length of Service)Referral Reward SchemeSocial ClubEqual Opportunities StatementOur client is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
