The opportunity
Tax is a fast paced and evolving discipline, and with the rapid growth in services clients require, and our business expanding to support that, we are looking for people who can support our team across a wide range of areas.
Your key responsibilities
Your core focus will be on managing and training our team who work on a diverse portfolio of clients, bringing together a multi-disciplinary internal team to provide the best possible service. You will be responsible for managing the training of our team including on the job training to shape the development of junior staff, facilitating their technical and practical experience to ensure they get exposure to a broad range of opportunities as they grow their careers.
Skills and attributes for success
1. A self-motivated and ambitious individual, with a determination to develop their career and the careers of others.
2. Track record in delivering training and development of team both formal and on the job training.
3. Ability to be agile and change focus as new topics and issues emerge.
4. Advanced technical, interpersonal and team relationship skills.
To qualify for the role you must have
5. Professional qualification in ACA (or equivalent), law and/or Tax; or
6. AITI qualified or equivalent qualification in a Commonwealth country (such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, UK).
7. 4-6 years relevant post qualification tax experience.
8. Experience working in industry or practice as a tax professional
9. Strong technical skills and be keen to develop further.
Ideally, you’ll also have
10. Financial Services experience or a genuine interest in the financial services sector.
11. Big 4 Tax experience.
