This role is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team responsible for driving and shaping the Woodies omni-channel experience in order to grow revenue and drive best in class customer experience.
Our Digital department is looking for a Digital Trading & Merchandise Exec to drive digital revenue and customer experience. This role will play a key part in maintaining a great online customer experience, balancing brand and commerce across all categories on Woodies.ie. We are looking for someone who has a passion for retail and product, bringing a commercial outlook as well as new ideas on how to innovate to be the best in class omni-channel DIY retailer.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Upload:
o Enrich online product content to ensure discoverability & enhance the customer website experience.
o Work closely with buying teams to track new products and manage the workflow onto the site.
o Manage communication and sending of requested imagery and product content to our e-commerce partners.
o Create reports showing what has been uploaded and identify gaps.
o Assign products to the correct attributes and categories as per guidelines.
o Upload, process, and QA product imagery and copy assets to meet specifications.
o Resize and rename imagery through Photoshop and upload to backend systems.
o Manage seasonal product uploads within required timelines.
o Ensure priority products are uploaded as requested and communicate with teams.
2. Site Trading:
o Activate promotions and events on Woodies.ie, providing support across digital channels.
o Collect and catalogue brand campaign assets to ensure timely site reflection.
o Identify and promote priority products and ensure bestseller visibility.
o Manage site calendar and updates for Category Landing Pages.
o Implement product launches and manage the removal of older products.
o Monitor stock allocation to ensure visibility and availability.
o Analyze and drive sales through stock management and trends.
3. Improvement of Customer Experience:
o Increase conversion by improving navigation and product information architecture.
o Identify opportunities to increase AOV using cross and upsell techniques.
o Drive customer experience on our PLPs and sorting rules.
o Develop content with our digital marketing team for all product categories.
o Support our CRM programme in line with digital and category priorities.
