The International Renewables and Energy Systems Integration (IRESI) Group is a research centre housed in the School of Business. IRESI's research focuses on propelling sustainable energy systems into the future by helping individuals, organisations, and institutions in the pursuit of a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable energy landscape. We are seeking 3 excellent candidates to join our team as Research Assistants to provide research and support for this vibrant and highly productive academic department.
These roles will focus on providing essential support to research teams in achieving their objectives for the Research Ireland project RENEW, while also contributing valuable insights into proposed solutions. A key aspect of the role involves active engagement with stakeholders to build and implement effective solutions that align with University systems and processes. These solutions will address the operational and strategic priorities of the School of Business and the University. The roles will require close collaboration with stakeholders to understand their needs, ensure effective communication, and foster alignment between project goals and stakeholder expectations. It will also involve assisting in the design, testing, and deployment of innovative approaches that drive project success and seamlessly integrate into existing frameworks, ensuring impactful and sustainable outcomes.
Research Assistant Level 2 (2024): €36,796 p.a. pro-rata (1 point)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
