My busy broker client is in their succession planning phase and is excited to hire an experienced Account Director to join their team.
As Account Director, you will be entrusted with independently managing a corporate portfolio.
Responsibilities Provide advice on all aspects of general insurance in the corporate insurance space.
Ensure that clients understand the terms and extent of the cover provided in accordance with industry regulations.
Negotiate terms and place business with underwriters.
Deliver a best-in-class customer service offering to existing clients in addition to adding new clients.
Gather information from your clients and assess their insurance needs and risk profile.
Research insurance companies' policies and negotiate with underwriters to find the most suitable insurance for your clients at the best price.
Foresee your clients' insurance needs, such as policy renewals or amendments.
Develop relationships with key insurance contacts, underwriters, and relationship managers & claims contacts.
Experience Experience in dealing with Corporate clients.
7 years + insurance experience.
Client-facing and advisory experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including confident telephone acumen.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and solution-focused.
Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the company's continued growth.
Able to communicate effectively (in both written and verbal form).
Enjoys interacting and building customer relationships and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
