Howell Kelly Solicitors, with offices in Clondalkin and Rathgar, are seeking to recruit a part-time solicitor with experience in conveyancing and probate and a broad general practice background.
Flexible working arrangements available with a mix of in-office and remote working options.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Residential and commercial property transactions, handling sales, purchases, leases, and refinancing.
2. Review and negotiate contracts and legal documents related to property transactions.
3. Advise clients on all aspects of property law, etc.
4. Work closely with clients, estate agents, financial institutions, and other professionals to ensure efficient and seamless property transactions.
5. Guide clients through all stages of the probate process, offering clear and reliable advice on estate administration.
6. Prepare and file applications for grants of probate and letters of administration.
7. Provide guidance to clients with asset identification, valuation, distribution, and tax issues in estate administration.
8. Advise executors, administrators, and beneficiaries on their rights and responsibilities.
9. Provide estate planning advice, including drafting wills.
10. The successful candidate will also assist with files in other areas of general practice.
Qualifications and skills:
1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in conveyancing and probate law with a general practice background.
2. Expertise: Extensive knowledge of property law, probate law, and estate administration.
3. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for clients.
4. Client-Centered: A strong focus on client satisfaction, with a proven ability to build lasting client relationships.
5. Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
