Sr. Business Analyst Job Type:Contract 6+ months Location:Limerick - Hybrid - 3 days at customer site The Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated senior Business Analyst to join our team in the MedTech industry.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between stakeholders and technical teams by gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and preparing detailed documentation.
Key responsibilities Attend and actively participate in workshops with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements.
The business analyst works to understand business needs and processes and to act as a liaison between the business and the technical team.
They are responsible for understanding business processes, eliciting and documenting requirements, and coordinating communication among various business groups and IT technical teams.
Prepare clear and comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process workflows Create user stories, use cases, and other documentation as needed to support project development.
Translate stakeholder inputs into actionable requirements for development teams.
Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Experience in manufacturing (Medtech) will be preferable Work with a diverse business community to document as-is and to-be business processes.
Ensure clear communication between business stakeholders and IS technical teams.
Your Profile Key skills/knowledge/experience: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the MedTech or healthcare industry.
Ability to gather and document detailed business and technical requirements.
Proficiency in creating diagrams, workflows, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Experience working in a regulated industry, such as MedTech, is preferred.
Functional knowledge of ERP in the manufacturing space (Oracle, JDE, SAP) is preferred Experience in manufacturing (Medtech) Familiarity with RFgen mobile barcoding and data collection technology is desirable Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e.
Stamp1G, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
