Position: Temporary Medical Secretary (Full-Time) Location: Dublin City Centre South Hourly Rate: €18.55 Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday), onsite Key Responsibilities: Provide dedicated secretarial and administrative assistance to the medical staff. Manage and organise patient appointments, handling scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling. Accurately maintain and update patient records, ensuring complete confidentiality at all times. Coordinate patient referrals and liaise effectively with healthcare professionals. Respond to phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Prepare and manage medical reports, letters, and other documents with precision. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the department and high-quality patient care. Requirements: Proven experience as a Medical Secretary in a healthcare setting is required. Typing speed of 50-60 words per minute and proficiency in audio typing. Familiarity with medical terminology, with experience in hospital procedures considered an advantage. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and compassionate approach.
