Position: Head Of People Partnering
Reporting to: Chief People Officer
Location: Dublin, Hybrid
Contract type: Specific Purpose
Salary: €78,735 to €95,000
Role Overview:
The Head of People Partnering is envisioned as a role that not only partners with business leaders to ensure that the Clúid people strategy enables the corporate objectives but also champions a our values and a high-performance culture that is agile and responsive to change and continuous growth. This role should have the foresight to anticipate future business and workforce needs, and the acumen to develop agile innovative people solutions that provide a competitive edge for Clúid through a strong business partnering approach. This role will commence as a specific purpose contract to cover a maternity leave.
About Your Team:
You will have the privilege of leading and mentoring a highly skilled team of six, comprising a People & Data Analyst, Talent Development Partner, People Projects & Operations Lead, and two People Partners. As a key member of a broader team encompassing Talent Development, People Experience, People Programmes, and Talent Acquisition—you will play an integral role in driving the people strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will collaborate with a dynamic, agile focused and forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Partnership:
Act as a key partner aligning the people strategy with corporate and departmental business objectives.
Act as an advisor to Clúid people managers, understanding their objectives and challenges, and advising on people-related strategies that align with business goals.
Empower leaders with people guidance and coaching to build capacity and capability within their teams.
Influence and shape business decisions through insights and people analytics.
Actively drive and role model the Clúid culture values and behaviours through a business partnering approach.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development across Clúid.
Act as a change agent, leading and supporting people change initiatives.
Drive a considered approach to workforce planning to ensure that the right talent is in place to meet future business challenges.
Adhere with all company policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of discretion and confidentiality.
Responsible for people related vendor and relationship management.
Performance Management:
In conjunction with the CPO, support the implementation of a performance management framework that drives high performance and operational excellence.
Coach and support leaders in managing team performance, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
People Data Analytics and Insights:
Utilise data analytics to inform and guide strategic decisions, identify trends, and predict future workforce needs.
Communicate insights and recommendations to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
Career Framework:
Lead the development of the career framework program.
People Operations, People Policy and Compliance:
Lead through an adaptive people approach throughout people operations.
Drive innovation in people practices by staying ahead of people trends and integrating new technologies and methodologies.
Ensure all people policies and practices are business-relevant, legally compliant, and effectively communicated across the organisation.
Wellbeing Initiative Leadership:
Develop and oversee programs that integrate employee wellbeing into the business strategy, including mental, physical, and financial wellbeing.
Collaborate with leadership to ensure wellbeing initiatives are effectively communicated and adopted throughout the organisation.
D&I:
Design, advise on, and support the execution of DEI strategies that create an inclusive workplace and enhance business growth.
Measure and analyse the impact of DEI initiatives, providing insights for ongoing strategy development.
Leadership and Team Development:
Provide leadership to the People Partnering team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Develop team capabilities to effectively support and advise business leaders on all people-related matters.
Lead by example to foster a culture of continuous learning and personal development within the team.
Ensure that all activities comply with relevant policies, legal standards, and best practices.
Person Specification:
Ideally you will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a senior HR role with a strategic focus.
Supports execution of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies.
Have a proven business acumen with an ability to translate business needs into people initiatives.
Expertise in performance management, compensation, DEI, and people analytics.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strategy relationships and drive engagement at all levels. Resilience and agility in managing a changing environment.
Experience/Qualifications:
Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent related experience (essential)
Professional qualification in HR (e.g., CIPD) (desirable).
Coach training and accreditation (e.g. EMCC/ICF) (desirable)
Experience in the non-profit or housing sector (desirable)
Experience working in working to agile / waterfall methodologies (desirable)
