Operations Manager Responsible for: Newly renovated Brooks Hotel seeks an Operations Manager to lead and manager our fantastic team. The efficient operational management of the hotel whilst ensuring that customer service standards and product quality are continually achieved. Main Purpose of the Job: To assist the General Manager in the delivery of hotel revenue and profit growth by maximising sales opportunities throughout the property. As a Senior Manager you must ensure that all areas within the hotel are running smoothly and that the presentation and cleanliness of the hotel is to the highest standards at all times. General Operations Ensure that you receive a handover briefing at the beginning of your shift to ensure that you are aware of any events or special requirements. Maintain a visible presence throughout the property and be the primary point of contact. Personally greet and interact with as many customers as possible with the concept of creating a personalized service environment. Carry out a check on each department so that you are up to date on their current priorities for the day. Ensure that staffing is adequate in all areas. Spot check a selection of guest bedrooms on a daily basis to ensure that standards are being maintained. Ensure that liquor licencing legislation is followed according to Company policy and procedures. Carry out security / fire walk and complete relevant records as required. Act as Fire Marshall while on duty and be thoroughly familiar with emergency procedures and alarms. Ensure that all checklists and reports are completed by the relevant person before the end of the shift. Candidate Requirements: 2-5 years as senior manager in a 4 star or 5 star hotel environment. Have a strong understanding of Food & Beverage concepts and of rooms division. Experienced in dealing with high volume food & beverage operation. A strong understanding of day to day management of a busy operation. strong team management and team building skills, ability to manage team in a confident manner Who are we?
