ServiceNow Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable ServiceNow Developer to join our newly formed team. In this role, you will play a key part in the knowledge transfer and transition process following our recent acquisition. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions that not only streamline business processes but also support the structural growth and future success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Configuration & Customization: Tailor ServiceNow applications, including workflows, forms, and reports, to support business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
2. Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and third-party applications, facilitating a smooth transition and maintaining operational continuity.
3. Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring uninterrupted service during the transition and beyond.
4. Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications, managing updates, patches, and continuous improvements.
5. Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, particularly focusing on changes and integrations related to the acquisition.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, process owners, and newly integrated team members, to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or in a similar role, with experience in transition projects preferred.
3. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or equivalent certification is preferred.
4. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices, particularly in the context of organizational change.
2. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
3. Knowledge of on-prem, cloud computing, and SaaS environments.
4. Experience in mergers, acquisitions, or organizational transitions is a plus.
