As a Payroll Processor, you will be responsible for the successful operation of our client’s UK payrolls, handling a portfolio of client accounts from start to finish through our payroll software. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in our Kilkenny office and 2 days a week working from home.
Responsibilities:
1. Running full end-to-end payrolls.
2. Gathering and validating all data and information required to successfully implement and run a new client’s payroll through our payroll software.
3. Work with our Implementation team to ensure the successful setup of the payroll software.
4. Update the Payroll Manager with the latest status including the escalation of risks and issues impacting the project.
5. Operate end-to-end payroll process on monthly payrolls for allocated clients (including processing the HMRC Submissions, net pay transfers, and HMRC Payments).
Requirements:
1. 1+ Years’ Experience working within a Payroll, Accounts or Finance Function.
2. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and ability to quickly analyse data and come to solid conclusions.
3. Superb client engagement skills and confident in engaging with and building relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
4. Excellent facilitation, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent attention to detail.
6. Must be motivated, professional and able to work on own initiative, with the capacity to be a versatile team player – flexible, proactive, and pragmatic.
7. University degree in a relevant or related field is an advantage but not a requirement.
Full training is given to the right applicant, so payroll experience is advantageous but not a requirement.
