Orange Recruitment is seeking an experienced IT Technical Analyst to join our client on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be reporting to the IT Infrastructure & Network Manager, and will be responsible for the provision of quality technical support service to the end users throughout the company. Job type: Permanent, full time, hybrid. Location: Kildare Salary: €36,00 - €42,000 DOE Responsibilities: Work as part of a team on the IT Helpdesk providing support for 250 users for the following systems: Microsoft 365. WAN & LAN networks. Firewalls. VMWare & Windows Server. Windows 10/11 - support and deployment. OS and Software patching. Varied business applications. Ensure best practice is followed as it relates to IT security though out the network. Support and maintenance of the Local and Wide area networks. Support the update and test of the Group Business Continuity Plan as required. Provide out-of-hours support and travel between company locations as required. Follow the company's procurement process when purchasing hardware and software. Research, source and implement software/hardware solutions when required. Customer Focus Knows who the customer is. Illustrates willingness to help others and is approachable. Skills and Experience IT Degree qualified or equivalent. At least 1-2 years' experience as a computer technician or similar role. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Good communication skills and thorough knowledge of computer system and IT components. Experience with LAN/WAN networks. Ability to problem solve and promote best practices in IT. Excellent organisational skills and experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously, in a time sensitive environment.
