The Junior Field Service Engineer will be instrumental in troubleshooting, servicing and repairing a range of systems and equipment primarily in Dublin City.
Job Description * Meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction * Install, maintain and repair equipment whilst providing customers with basic training where required * Document work carried out and submit paperwork in a timely manner * Manage repair parts cycle time.
Order, install and return parts.
* Participate in service sales opportunities and assist with implementing revenue programmes.
* Ensure tools are fully maintained and calibrated.
* Assess product performance and recommend improvements or modifications where necessary.
* Maintain clear and concise business communication, both oral and written.
* Establish and maintain a good relationship with senior levels Field Service Engineers and Product Managers.
* Remain aware of current technical trends.
* Exercise every available measure to control and minimize costs.
* Provide out of hours support where required based on an on call rota.
Travel and overtime outside of normal working hours (Mon-Fri) may be required.
* Ensure compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies.
Role Requirements * Associated degree, NVQ Level 3, BTEC ONC or HNC or related experience required.
* Computer literacy, competency in the use of all programs within MS Office Suite and aptitude for learning specialized software programs.
* Use of metrology and handheld tools
* Individual should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* A strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork will be required.
* The ability to engage, challenge and work effectively with others.
* The understanding and recognition of the organisations commercial environment and positioning themselves, their role and their actions in order to support the organisations commercial success.
