Essential Functions
* Build direct relationships with end user organizations on major opportunities and work closely with selected channel partners to maximize revenue opportunities within the territory.
* Maximize revenue on all accounts.
* Proactively seek out new business opportunities to increase AMAX's global footprint.
* Identify new markets for AMAX solutions.
* Regularly engage with new and existing customers.
* Work with the entire AMAX team to provide compelling commercial offerings.
* Understand the go-to-market strategy.
* Function in a sales environment with a heavy focus on fostering, developing, and nurturing relationships with customers.
* Close sales and ask for purchase orders.
* Demonstrate persistence, tenacity, the ability to overcome obstacles, and the determination required to improve skills and achieve objectives.
* Report and forecast your sales pipeline to upper management.
* Effectively communicate and respond to customers' needs and requests.
* Uncover needs, develop rapport and trust, while offering appropriate solutions by presenting key selling points and features, negotiating rates, and closing accounts over the phone.
* Maintain current knowledge of market activities including competitive products, pricing and policies, new technology, product specifications, and possible new products. Communicate this information to management regularly.
* Gather information, ask the right questions, overcome objections, and close business.
* Solution sell - understand your clients' needs and position your service accordingly.
* Schedule demos with prospective customers.
* Achieve and exceed KPIs.
Requirements
* Excellent verbal/written skills necessary.
* Minimum 2+ years' experience in inside sales, account training, or account management.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
* Passionate about succeeding.
* Familiar with working in an incentive/goal-driven environment.
* Strong customer service focus with a passion to exceed customer requirements.
* Responsible individual with high energy, drive, adaptability, and proven problem-solving skills.
